Basic Crochet with Alma de Luna

In this course students learned basic crochet terminology and how to use crochet tools. Students learned the basic crochet stitches including: Chain, single, half double, and double crochet. These main stitches  are the foundation to understanding more advanced stitches and only the beginning to endless possibilities. 

Alma de Luna is a fiber artist with a BFA in Crafts from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.  She has worked with various fiber art materials and processes in the past decade, but in most recent years Alma has focused on crochet. Her most recent work is focused on crocheting baskets with large rope.
