An archive of our past Events
Churro Week is an annual event that is hosted by EVFAC/NMFAC. During this week, the extended fiber community explores the deep local roots of this livestock and helps to raise awareness about the importance of the Navajo-Churro sheep.
Churro Week 2021 included a multitude of exciting events. We had fiber processing labs, a course in Rio Grande Weaving, wet and needle Felting courses, panel discussions, a gourmet dinner, dye labs, tours, and more!

These fine fleece’s were for sale for members in May of 2021! Local fleeces from Los Luceros, Pat Oviedo, and Ghost Ranch were all on display. We also had Skirting demonstrations using churro.
Fleece Sale 2021
Fall Fiber Fiesta is an annual member show and sale exhibiting the work of 40+ member fiber artist. This show takes place in late November at the historic Scottish Rite Temple in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico. Join us to shop, and get inspired. This is Santa Fe’s largest fiber arts sale of the year. We are proud to host this very well attended event.
