Hey Northern New Mexico fiber artists: Round up all your Unfinished Fiber Objects and join our brand-new monthly group, where we will motivate and encourage each other to turn our UFOs into FOs!
Stop by on the 4th Sunday of the month and check out our new UFO’s group. We can help each other to set and achieve goals toward finishing our projects, share our knowledge and skills, provide encouragement, and just spend time in friendly company while working on our projects.

Do you have a rigid heddle loom but you’re not sure where to start?
Have you done some projects but would love the support and inspiration from other weavers to learn new skills in a fun and supportive environment?
The Rigid Heddle Support Group is a welcoming community for weavers of all levels. We share a passion for the versatile rigid heddle loom, supporting each other through problem-solving, idea sharing, and resource exchange. We meet on the 3rd Sunday of each month to discuss projects, explore new techniques, and push the boundaries of this "simple" yet powerful tool. All little loom weavers (RHL, Inkle...) are welcome - Come join the fun, we can’t wait to see you there!
Free Fiber Group Meet-Ups!
Join your friends, meet new friends, learn from pros. EVFAC offers free fiber groups. These groups are not classes, though we’ve never met a fiber artist that isn’t there to share and help with tips, techniques, and tricks of the trade! These groups are open, and free to all. Please come ready to create beautiful art, new friendships, and lasting memories. All groups meet in person at EVFAC. Any changes will be announced both here and on our social media pages so don’t forget to follow us online!

Join our adventurous crew and get started on your spinning and fiber journey. No experience or equipment is needed (But if you have your own equipment/fibers feel free to bring them with you!)
Spinning Adventures is led by Glenna Dean of the Abiquiu Dye Studios. Glenna Dean is a master dyer, spinner, and weaver and is very involved in the New Mexican Fiber Arts community. This is a wonderful group; stop procrastinating and join us at the next Spinning Adventures!

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:
EVFAC Revised Class cancellation policy: Updated December 23, 2024:
Please be aware: EVFAC’s New Class cancellation policy will be in effect for all classes scheduled after December 23rd, 2024.
Email info@nmfiberartscenter.com to initiate cancellation, or call during open hours.
PLEASE DO NOT leave a voice message or message us on social media to cancel a class.
No refunds will be available for any class once class has started.
All Class Cancellations will be charged a $15 processing fee in addition to the following:
Class cancellations 7 days or less prior to first day of class will receive no refund.
8-13 days before beginning of class, students will receive an 80% refund.
14 days or more before beginning of class: Full refund
If class is cancelled by EVFAC/instructor students will receive a full refund.
If class is postponed due to inclement weather/emergencies students will receive an option to make up the class.

Instructor Proposal form: Interested in teaching at EVFAC? We are always looking for new instructors at the center. Please click the button below and fill out our instructor proposal form, we’d love to have you teaching with us in the future.
EVFAC strives to provide classes to all, regardless of your financial status. Financial Aid may be available for classes.
Good news: There may be aid available for classes at the center for those who are in need! Please be aware that we may only be able to offer partial funding for some of our classes, and not all classes will have funding. Fill out our financial aid form if you are not able to pay for a particular class at the center. We may be able to help you, as we strive to provide education for all.
COVID-19 POLICY UPDATE:
As of May, 2024, COVID-19 policies for classes will be based upon the individual preferences of the instructor of each class. These preferences will be clearly outlined on registration forms.

We do our best to regularly clean surfaces and create air flow, however we cannot guarantee that a COVID-19 infection will not occur.
While we no longer require proof of COVID-19 vaccinations, we do recommend adhering to the current CDC guidelines and wearing a mask if you are immune compromised:
stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines
wash your hands frequently and practice good hygiene
When you're sick:
if you have respiratory symptoms, use precautions to prevent spread: stay home and away from others
seek testing and/or treatment promptly
learn when you can go back to your normal activities (visit - www.cdc.gov)
